IF ANY OF THIS SOUNDS LIKE YOU, THEN THIS COURSE WAS MADE FOR YOU!

  • You've got an idea for a podcast, but you need help putting it together. Every day that passes is one more chance to get your show off the ground. You've got a great idea, now it's time to give it life!

  • You're willing to put in the time to create not only one episode, but a sustainable show. This course is designed to be as simple as possible, but you still need to be willing to put in the work to move through each section and watch your show come to life.

  • You have something that you can't stop talking about. Are your friends and family tired of hearing you go on and on about something? Well guess what? Your podcast audience is out there and they want to hear more about it!

  • You love creative problem solving. Even with a great idea and a solid roadmap to get there, you'll still need to find innovative solutions to unique challenges as you develop your show

  • You love podcasts! It's one thing to make a podcast, but knowing what it's like to be a podcast fan who's experienced firsthand the impact that a great show can have on your life is not only an awesome thing, it'll make you a better and more relatable podcaster.
IF ANY OF THIS SOUNDS LIKE YOU, THEN THIS COURSE IS NOT A GOOD FIT:

  • Your main focus is getting as many downloads and podcast subscribers as possible. It takes time to build an audience and find your footing, and beyond that, podcasting can be rewarding in ways that have nothing to do with analytics.

  • Your main interest is monetization. While it's definitely possible to earn money from your show at some point, this course focuses in the creative production process. The Playbook does not discuss monetization at all.

  • You want to create harmful, shocking, or negative content. Nope. Just nope, this is not your course and I'm not your guy.

  • You're not committed to your goal. Life happens, and that's ok. But this course is for someone who's ready to dive in and make their podcast a priority. There are always explanations, but we're not here to make excuses.

Frequently Asked Questions

When does the course start and finish?

The Podcaster Playbook is a self-paced course. The lessons are designed to be worked through in chronological order, but you can begin the course as soon as you enroll and you decide how fast you want to go through the course.

How long will I have access to the course?

Your enrollment is valid for the entire lifetime of the course. This means that as long as The Podcaster Playbook exists, you'll have access to it (including any updates and new material added in the future). Since "lifetime of the course" is a pretty vague amount of time, at minimum you will have guaranteed access for at least one year from your date of enrollment.

What equipment do I need?

If you're viewing this page, you have everything you need. The Podcaster Playbook covers some of the basics when it comes to equipment (and includes a wish list if you want to invest in some new gear), but you'll be able to produce and distribute your show even if all you've got is a phone.

What is the community component?

Your enrollment includes access to a private message board where you can connect with podcasters from all over the world and communicate in realtime. It's a great place to get some extra support, share your insights, and just have fun with other enthusiastic podcasters.

What's the refund policy?

Since enrollment provides you with instant access to ALL of the course content immediately, your purchase is non-refundable. The Podcaster Playbook has been designed to walk you through every step of the process for launching your own podcast, and if you put in the work, you'll see the results (and hopefully have fun along the way)!

Final Cut Pro is my favorite video editing application and I'm excited to share my entire process and everything I know with you! This isn't necessarily the definitely "be-all-end-all" approach, but it's my own personal way of using FCP after more than a decade with the program and 9 years helping students learn it as a Digital Media teacher.
